Spacious, clean rooms. Quiet at night. Friendly and helpful management; if you need anything, just ask. A rooftop pool and sitting area with nice views. Good and plentiful breakfasts. Owners offer free rides to/from the ferry dock. Lunch and dinner available with prior notice. There is a number of decent riverside restaurants 10-15min walk away.

All activities take place on the fourth floor, with no elevator (one is planned in the future). Second and third floors are not finished yet. The outside area can get smoky at times from burning garbage and wood fires (no fault of the hotel!). Local food on the menu is rather overpriced as compared to the nearby riverside restaurants.

Stay here if you are rich. Everything was extremely overpriced and super expensive for what it is. I know how much things cost. Dinner costs like 5 or 6 times more than what you can get nearby. We had much better food for a quarter of that price. They charged us like $20 US dollars for 3 skewers of meat and some rice and soup. Staff kept trying to get us to pay another 800 pounds for their transfer service to just go to the airport. It costs 160 to take an Uber/Careem or you can take the ferry to the east bank for 7.5 pounds and take an 80 pound taxi ride. Staying on the east bank is the better choice in my opinion. The electricity also stops for like an hour at night, which means no AC and light. Very disruptive to our sleep, the pillows were very high and uncomfortable too.

Absolute Spitzenlage am westlichen Nilufer. Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Pool und großartigerer Aussicht auf den Nil und die vorgelagerten Bananenplantagen. Toller Service, großes Ausflugsangebot, es wird sich hervorragend und unaufdringlich um die Gäste gekümmert!

We stayed here for 5 nights and from the beginning to the end we were very well looked after by the wonderful staff, going out of their way to help us with our laundry, drop us off to atms, assisting with river crossings and tours. The chef was amazing - past chef at popular restaurant for 15 years and an all around great guy. He ended up doing a cooking lesson for the chicken curry because my partner loved it so much. We also were invited for lunch with the owners family which was wonderful. Great location, a lot of space to enjoy the pool and rooftop area with fast internet. If you’re tossing up a hotel, this is the one.

Everything was perfect

The hotel is just amazing! It's located inside a banana plantation, 10 minutes by tuk-tuk from the port of felucas and public ferries to the East bank and 10 minutes from temples like Medinet Habu. It's so calm, clean, modern. You are immersed in nature, in an authentic place, not some touristic village. Yasser was extremely kind and available 24/7. Mahmood will give you a ride with tuk-tuk where you need plus will also prepare extremely delicious food for you. And the rooftop pool is just stunning. Looking forward coming back soon

We extended our stay here because the place is so pleasant and the team so welcoming! Don't hesitate for a second, Yasser Mahmoud and Mohamed will make your stay a perfect one. Our 4 days here went by too quickly... The hotel is on the west bank of Luxor, which is the most peaceful, ideally situated 5 minutes from the boat to the east bank and close to the sites to visit on the west bank. The team will organise the visits of your choice. Mahmoud's cooking is incredible (by the way, don't hesitate to come just for dinner or lunch if you're staying in a nearby hotel). We hope to come back in the coming years!

Hotel location is not very practical, and was a little dark road. because of the field, you got be ready for moskito, every time come to the ferry or city by tuktuk, it was nice experience, but i will not choose live on the west bank next time.

This hotel is very clean and host is very kind and helpful. View is amazing. My children enjoy the pool on the rooftop. Everything is perfect.

Location is not good. But this is no problem because if you call, they will pick up you with tuktuk or motobike. It is very interesting. And if you pay some money(50), they will bring you to East bank. Thank you very much.

A bit of a walk (15-20 minutes) to get supplies or to eat out. But you needn't worry, the hosts can whizz you around in the tuktuk or motorbike or boat.

-There were cockroaches in the toilet -The bed had bedbugs and both of our bodies are full of bug bites now - The place got filled with mosquitos the second night and when informed, the person in charge said he is home and not at the property. He asked if we have an electronic mosquito repellant in the room and when we said no and requested one, there was no further response. - I had sprained my arm mid travel and there were no proper guidance in finding hospitals or a doctor. They basically said sorry we couldn't be of help. -The bathroom got flooded each time we used the shower -The kitchen was basically a sink -Location was in the middle of nowhere - however they do provide free tuk tuk from the port to the hotel -No WiFi in the room and no mobile connection either. We informed them but he basically tried to gaslight me that it works

The best service i have ever received in a hotel. Can greatly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a great stay in Luxor.

Please anyone who is reading this - it is the best place to stay in Luxor. The hotel and rooms themselves are spacious, clean and well presented. They have a kitchen that's open with a brilliant chef. And all the other staff are extremely helpful, polite, friendly and respectful. But the best thing about this place is the owner Yasser. He will lift you up and provide assistance, guidance and any help that's needed. Whether it's around the areas, tours arranging or general advice. Now Yasser is one of my best friends.

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. Amazing value.

The distance to the ferry is a little long, however the hotel offers a free shuttle if you want it. My brother and I loved the walk through the banana plantation to the nile so it was actually a plus for us, just be careful if you have mobility issues.

I really loved all the staff. They were friendly and helpful all the time. Often they went further than they needed to to help make the stay great. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty. They will organise tours and visiting if you want. Highly recommended west bank stay.

Friendly people, rooms are nice, the breakfast is very good, the hotel has a good view to the nile and the staff was very friendly.

Only downside is that there is not really anything within walking distance (<1km) from the hotel, which means you have to take a taxi everytime. Currently you pay 50LE for the taxi to drive to the ferry (10min drive), than 5LE to take the national ferry to the east bank (10min ferry), so the cost is not that high (about 2 euro) but if you want to go to a restaurant on the east bank than it will take you some time.

Yasser is a fantastic host. Always here to help, and do his best to make you having a wonderful time. The hotel is in a calm area, not far from the center. Super calm, the rooftop is insane AND thanks to all the team for the services, the wonderful dinner (take the tajine) and the ping-pong matches ;) I will go again.

Very friendly, clean and comfortable! A Pool on the roof and breakfast and dinner too. The meals have been excellent- very good and tasty. Special praise to the chef. Yusser, the owner has organized our trips very well and has helped us in all issuses. A very good hotel, surrounded by a banana plantation with a wonderful view from the roof to the nile and the east bank. Also good price performance ratio too.

Delicous breakfast and dinner at the rooftop terasse with a stunning view on the nile, the banana plantages and the desert mountains. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The location on the westbank of luxor is perfect if you like it a bit calmer. We loved it!

If you are visiting Luxor, you should absolutely stay here! Yasser and his team were the most warm, welcoming hosts, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We arrived late on our first day and Yasser arranged a transfer for us from the train station and text us the menu to make sure we could have dinner before the restaurant closed. The food… oh my goodness the food!! It is incredible - Mahmoud the chef prepares everything from scratch. It was the best food we had in all our time in Egypt! The soups were my favourite but the vegetable tagine, the chicken, the tahina, the salad and the rice were all amazing too. The portions were really generous and in the end we had dinner there every night because we loved it so much. Yasser helped us to arrange all the trips we wanted to do for a good price. He got us the first flight on a hot air balloon to watch the sun rise - this was one of our highlights from our whole trip! We loved the day on the East bank where Ahmed took us from site to site on his boat. We headed back to the West Bank as the sun was setting which was the most perfect end to the day. Yasser and his team did our washing for us and checked in with us every day about how we were doing and how we were finding everything. We felt so looked after throughout our time there. This has been one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we found it to be incredibly good value for money. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was great. If you’ve read this far, I’m sure it is clear how incredible this place is and how much we loved it! Thank you Yasser, Mahmoud, Alaa, Mohamed and all the rest of the team for such a wonderful stay in Luxor. We can’t wait to come back again one day!

Our stay at Nile Panorama Hotel was perfect. Yasser, Mahmoud, and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and did everything they could to make us feel at home. Our initial plan was to stay two nights, but in the end we were sad that we did not enough have time to spend more than four nights. The location was perfect for us, although a bit far for walking to and from the ferry. Yasser has you covered though, because he offers a free daily transfer. What makes the location great is being surrounded by banana tree plantations, being close to rural/quiet and authentic Egypt, and having all historical sites of the West Bank easily accessible. The rooftop terrace with swimming pool offers a view that does not get old, and the included breakfast was delicious (props to Mahmoud). The rooftop restaurant offers great meals and a nice ambiance. The rooms are very clean and well equipped with everything you would need, including a nice hot shower. Yasser was very approachable and helpful, and I can honestly say we shared an amazing time here. We usually do not come back to places that we have visited, but I think Nike Panorama Hotel will be the exception.
