What a wonderful visit we had together The Old Hunting Lodge. We were meandering around the countryside and decided to spend the night here. It was absolutely wonderful! The room was perfect….comfortable beds and pillows and everything you need to feel at home. Adjacent to the dining area is a lovely sitting area, both with wood burning fireplaces. Let’s talk about the food; delicious homemade savory pies, spicy Thai curries (it was spicy the way we like it!) fresh squeezed orange juice and an overly abundant English breakfast. Everything was very tasty including the yummy hot chocolate. Adam and his staff are terrific; very friendly, accommodating, and they do a great job of making all their guests comfortable. A big thank you to everyone there!

Superb boutique, adult only hotel. The whole hotel was decorated/presented in a country style suiting the building/location. The food was locally sourced and extremely tasty. The friendly staff added to the overall experience.
The fact we had only booked one night!

The Breakfast was exceptional
Room was quite small and felt cluttered, felt like we were in someone's spare room
