Staff were super friendly and helpful room was good size and bed comfy. Complimentary toiletries were a nice touch as were the tea ,coffee and biscuits!
Breakfast had a good selection and good sized portions.
Room was hot and a little noisy until the pub shut - to be expected I think.

Breakfast was disappointing - very small and bland English breakfast with overcooked bacon. They also weren't serving food in the evening.

Location suited us and had stayed at The Miller many years ago. It is an interesting building, quite quirky. Staff were attentive and friendly and had told us that there was an event (wedding party) in the hotel so the restaurant was not available.
It was scruffy - clean but in need of refurbishment. En suite bathroom facilities were poor with toilets and showers located in the bedroom area. Rooms varied hugely - our party had booked three rooms, all different, but bathroom facilities in all three were dated and poorly accessed. There were bare painted floorboards in every room and very noisy plumbing which meant noise travelled - up from the bar and between rooms when toilets were flushed.
