Lovely rooms, bed and bedding super comfortable and cosy, spotlessly clean.
Staff were so friendly and helpful and lunch was great!
Great value for money too - will definitely be back!
Maybe could supply hairdryers in the rooms?
I mentioned it to the staff and the new owner lent me hers - brilliant!
Shower glass needs a better seal as found a lot of water on the floor but an easy fix I’m sure 🙂

Tastefully done up rooms, comfortable beds. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Exchanged our double for two twins without problem and at no extra charge. Nice old English pub.

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice separate block for the rooms so away from the pub. Comfy bed, plenty of tea & coffee, decent shower. Cheap compared to other local options. Nice beer garden!
A bit tired and shabby: loose fittings, the bathroom door was very hard to shut - plus the linen smelled like chip fat :(

Location and dinner were both very good
The room. After check in and finding there was no fan in the room, we requested for a fan in the room from the reception area in the bar. The lady advised she had none at the hotel. Due to the very hot weather we would have expected to have a fan in the room.

"Spacious and comfortable room - Well equipped and nice and quiet. I think the accommodation is much better than the website suggests. Staff very friendly. Couldn't have suited us more!"
