Ethos Hotel - Oxford City

The location was superb, on the corner of a parallel street of a main route into Oxford City, outside of the charging zone. I was very fortunate to have permit parking and was able to park just a few cars distance from my accommodation. Loved the laid back style of the caffe which was on the other corner of the road from my accommodation. My room was in a modern annexe further along the road but attached to the main Hotel building. It was spacious, modern, loved the kitchenette facility and the shower was easy to work with plentiful hot water. My bed was luxe, lovely linens and towels. Couldn't fault it at all. Breakfast was included too!

I haven't paid that much £150 for a hotel room for a long time, to me that is luxury price. But I understand my stay was on the day that the students were all returning to school and sadly the prices go up because so many parents need accommodation. The old, old, adage, like prices going up during the school holidays, never going to change I guess. BUT excellent location for City sightseeing.

Breakfast was great lots of choices Great location only a short walk to the city centre

The area inside the front door had bags of washing left there

Location great. Staff personable and helpful. Room allocated to us perfect for our needs. Bistro style eating.

A couple of aspects of the room not as well cleaned as we would have expected.

Nice room. Dog welcome

Room for £107 reasonable. My breakfast: orange juice, coffee 2 croissants, banana, £20. Partner ate even less for £20. Car parking £29. Total £69 not reasonable
