King's Garden Resort

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and feels almost like something out of a fairytale. The location directly on the beach is fantastic, with golden sand and a lovely open layout where the green lawn in front of the reception almost seamlessly turns into the beach. The whole property is very well maintained, constantly cleaned and surrounded by a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the reception team. The restaurant overlooking the sea is another big highlight, and the breakfasts were delicious. If I were rating only the resort, its location, atmosphere, staff and common areas, I would easily give it 10/10.

Unfortunately, our bungalow was a completely different experience and this is what makes the overall rating quite difficult. The bungalow we stayed in was extremely small — honestly, it felt more like a storage room than a proper hotel room. For two people there was virtually no space to sit comfortably inside. There was no proper seating area or table where we could sit together, have something to eat or simply relax. The mattress was also very soft and uncomfortable for us. Outside the bungalow there was only a small, hard wooden bench, while we noticed that all of the other bungalows had much more comfortable outdoor seating with soft cushions. The bathroom also felt quite dated and could definitely use renovation. The silicone and finishing around some areas were visibly old, and the entire bungalow was very dark, which made the small space feel even more cramped. It is a real pity because the resort itself is wonderful. I would rate the overall resort 10/10, but unfortunately our particular bungalow was closer to 4–5/10. With a renovated, brighter and slightly more comfortable room, this could easily be an exceptional place to stay. That why finding the middle I will rate it at 8.

amazing location on chaweng beach and near to everything specially central mall … well maintained garden very green …. there is no swimming pool but u don’t need one coz of the direct location on beach … the front desk staff is very friendly

the matress of bed is kinda hard , there is no much sun umbrella’s on beach … and there is no clean water shower after u come out of the sea … other than that everything was perfect, definitely will book here again !
