During my recent trip to the picturesque town of Salzburg, we had the pleasure of staying at the charming Pension Ballwein. From the moment we arrived, we was greeted with warmth and hospitality by Simon and Daniela, making us feel right at home.
Simon and Daniela were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their attentive nature and willingness to assist with any inquiries or requests truly made a positive impact on our overall experience.
One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious and diverse breakfast provided each morning.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable. Housekeeping services were carried out regularly, and I always returned to a well-maintained and tidy room after a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.
The location of Pension Ballwein was also ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions and scenic spots.
All in all, my stay at Pension Ballwein was a memorable one, largely thanks to the friendly and welcoming Simon and Daniela. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely pension to anyone visiting Salzburg, and we look forward to returning in the future.

We loved everything in this property! Thankful to Daniela and Simon for the amazing hospitality. One of the best memories during our stay was when Daniela gave my wife her birthday cake - that was very thoughtful! Location is perfect - bus stop is right outside the property. View from the balcony is amazing. We'll definitely stay here again when we come back to Salzburg!

Everything was absolutely perfect. It was way better than anything I expected. Beautiful surroundings, well maintained facilities, comfy bed, and one heck of a breakfast.
The hosts, Simon and Daniela are wonderful. 10/10 would totally recommend to anyone visiting Salzburg.

This was my fourth stay with Simon and Daniela at Pension Ballwein and it was just as wonderful as always. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast is delicious and the location couldn't be better. But what really makes it such a beautiful place to stay is the kind and friendly dedication of it's owners. They were so accommodating to our every need and we really felt cared for during our time with them.
For anybody visiting the beautiful city of Salzburg, make your trip the best it can be and stay with Simon and Daniela. We cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our holiday absolutely perfect and we look forward to returning to stay with them again very soon.

Being just out of the city- right on bus line...quick ride into town and attractions..
Quiet Balcony to relax on.....mountain view...walk to fine restaurant on lake.
Hosts Daniela and Simon wonderful and helpful...as well as their adorable "helpers".( daughters).
Would definitely stay here again if lucky enough to return to Salzburg!
Oh..and the breakfast was wonderful...lots of delicious choices...

The owners and the staff were very friendly, warm and professional. The room and the whole property was comfortable and clean. All was above our expectations. We spent a great time there and would greatly recommend Pension Ballwein to others.

Really charming location at the outskirt of the city but still close enough to either go by foot or by bus. The bus stop is literally in front of the pension!!
We really loved the quietness of the place in the night with sound of the bells in the morning. Perfect balance between proximity to the city and to the nature!
Breakfast is really nice and it is really appreciated how accommodating they were when my partner asked for lactose free milk. Whilst we did not tell them in advance they sorted it out!! Many thanks!!

Cute, well-decorated place run by a super friendly family. Room was very clean and very well equipped. Also bus stop just in front leading to the most central point in town in around 10 min. We had a perfect stay.

This place is amazing! Big and comfortable room, eggs made to order plus a buffet for breakfast every morning. Simon and Daniela were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations when we arrived. It's super easy to get into downtown Salzburg from the hotel, the bus stop is right outside. Will be recommending this place to anyone who tells me they're going to Salzburg!

Nice renovated guesthouse, very helpful owners, excellent breakfast with eggs directly prepared according to interest. Parking is at the guesthouse. Out of walking distance to the centre, but the bus has a stop right outside and the journey to the centre takes about 15 minutes. I recommend getting a Salzburg card directly from the guesthouse (fares and visits to most sights are included).

I loved how the guesthouse was decorated and kept up. beautiful flowers were also planted on the balconies. I also loved the big balcony off my room. Simon and Daniela were so kind and helpful. They even made me an early breakfast the day of my departure which was exceptional!
I would have liked an additional pillow at night but that was not a big deal. I should have asked for one but forgot

Daniela and Simon were very welcoming. The property is full of character but modern comforts eg super shower,air con and fridge in the room.
Bus stop outside the property takes you to the town centre in 15 minutes
