Courtyard by Marriott London Gatwick Airport

I loved the room, especially the bed. It was quite comfortable and clean. The restaurant food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating and professional.

I didn't like that there were no wash cloths to take my shower. I was informed that the lack of wash cloths is quite common, but I had just stayed at a hotel in South Hampton and they had provided wash cloths, so I was a bit disappointed as I prefer to use wash cloths. I also didn't like the door that was used for the bathroom as it took up too much space in the bathroom when opening and closing it; making it difficult to navigate in and out of the bathroom. Given the limited space in the bathroom, the use of a pocket door would have been more practical and a space-saving option.

Friendly and helpful staff, good service and a very convenient location close to Gatwick Airport.

The room could benefit from some maintenance and updating, particularly in the bathroom. Some areas looked a little worn and would benefit from better upkeep. Given the hotel’s overall standard and price, I expected the room to be better maintained.

Breakfast was average. The hotel was not signposted for directions from airport. Thank heavens for Google Maps

I didn't like getting a wake up call that was meant for someone else,at 5.45 am

Comfortable rooms. Pleasant bar and restaurant area.

Bar and restaurant were grossly over air-conditioned, really cold and not comfortable. The drinks were patchy, £16.50 for a double G&T with poor tonic. The cheaper wines pretty questionable. Food was frankly terrible and overpriced.
