Pools, especially the indoor pool for cooler days. Our room was quiet. For such a large hotel, there was no noise at night.
The food offering at the buffet wasn't for us. We weren't impressed with the quality of the food.

Beautiful situation. Very friendly staff and good food. Bus stop outside the hotel for buses to Funchal and other destinations. The indoor swimming pool was great as too cold for the outdoor pool in winter.

The staff here are truly incredible! They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From a personalized check-in - where Fabio was absolutely amazing with my kids - to a wonderful birthday breakfast celebration for my wife, every detail was handled with care. Thank you for everything!
While the service was excellent, the rooms could benefit from some updates, such as replacing the dated corded phones and installing USB charging ports. Additionally, the indoor pool felt a bit chilly at 22°C and lacked amenities for children. We also noticed that the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak in the pool area

Location, parking, staff , lovely common areas
Balcony offered great views of the harbor and hillsides.
Elevators were fast tho small
Rooms very dated with no working refrigerator or in room coffee. Bed quite uncomfortable. Told we had to wash our own dishes but no facilities to do so. Found dish detergent at nearby Mercado.
