I wanted a softer pillow and didn't get one. Otherwise, absolutely perfect

Gorgeous property. Nice pool and lounge chairs with towels. Excellent breakfast. Eat it in the garden. Despite the super hot summer, garden was comfortably cool in the morning shade. Views were stunning as well.

There was a bit of a sewer smell in the rooms where you walked out to the courtyard but I think it has more to do with the age of the location. I also smelled this in the city. Just put in the air conditioning and it goes away.

Abbiamo avuto un problema al check-in risolto dal personale dopo qualche tribolazione forse eccessiva. La nostra camera aveva delle scale un po’ troppo ripide e scomode da percorrere specie con qualche bagaglio. Rientrando di notte con la macchina una sera abbiamo dovuto attendere diversi minuti prima che il portiere di notte ci aprisse il garage; è stato seccante Segnaliamo che l’albergo è distante da Firenze ma per noi nello specifico non era un problema e loro sono anche provvisti di navetta

The staff were great at reception. Really accommodating. We arrived at 11pm and they got us a drink even though the bar had just closed.

The hotel is like walking into your aunt's home - lots of ornaments. It feels lived in which is fine for some people, its just not our taste. There was no water in the swimming pool due to the time of year, albeit we were in 25 degree heat, which I wasn't informed off. We didn't use the spa. Breakfasts could have been better for the amount of money we were paying and we had to ask for coffee. Bedroom air conditioning wasn't on as we were out of season but the reception then gave us a fan and a mosquito repellent plug for the room. The bath was mouldy and there were marble steps up to bathroom which were lethal if wet. The shuttle bus did not take us far enough into the city centre - it was still a 20 minute walk to get to the centre.
