This hotel is amazing! I was traveling with my husband who is sick and just had an operation. They did absolute everything to make him comfortable. The hotel is beautiful and clean. But what makes this hotel different is the staff. They were truly so nice and helpful. Nothing was too much.

Location and friendliness of staff. Bashir was very helpful.
Some of the facilities (in room charging point etc) are a little outdated.

As a railway buff this is one hotel that I've always wanted to stay at, and with a trip on the Eurostar the following day it seemed the ideal opportunity. The architecture and main interiors certainly didn't disappoint. The only other positive was that the bed was very comfortable.
We ate in the Booking Hall restaurant and found the service extremely slow. At dinner for 4 of us, only 3 mains arrived together with the fourth arriving well over 10 minutes later with no explanation and no apology given. At breakfast it took over 30 minutes for our order to arrive even though it was by no means busy.
