the location was fabulous as I was taking the train on the Saturday.

The room I was given was not what I expected for the price. As my flight was delayed and my check in was later than expected, I was given a room which was not what I thought I was getting.

We liked the location and the architecture of the building . Staff were very helpful and polite. Lovely coffee on arrival.

Our room was very warm and we couldn’t alter the temperature setting. Breakfast was rather disappointing. Eggs on my cooked breakfast were undercooked and inedible as was the bacon.

Couldn’t get a steak at 4pm had to wait until 5pm!!

The stay was too traumatic for me to remember anything good

I choose hotels instead of options such as Airbnb to feel safe and secure. After my stay here I felt anything but safe and secure. Briefly, I had valuable sentimental items stolen right from the security box in my room. It was clearly by a staff member. The hotel initially handled it adequately and identified the staff member. but it has been over a week since my stay and 10 days since the incident and I have yet to receive any information as to what happened to the staff member or my belongings. It ruined my stay as I was afraid to leave the room after and no other hotels had bookings. I recieved 1 email since saying that they are still working on it. The hotel have also not tried or offered to compensate me in any shape or form. I don't even know what would make the awful experience any better.

Beautiful architecture. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The pool, steam and sauna after breakfast was delightful.

Good position for central london, beautiful building, comfortable room

No comfortable lounge room, or intimate bar: dining/breakfast room long waits for service, the chairs throughout hotel were stylish but uncomfortable: (leaning too far back) and the bar and restaurant Rennaisance staff did not seem pleased to be serving except for the staff at the Midland Hotel next door who were happier and willing to be friendly and helpful.

The check in and welcome glass of prosecco, the helpful staff, the meal in the french restaurant was outstanding, the night manager/porter was great too making check out effortless as we left early to catch the eurostar

It was very noisy all night with the sound of the tube trains and cars and emergency vehicles outside. No double glazing as its a listed building I presume, but could benefit from secondary double glazing added which would be acceptable.

Distance from King’s Cross

The room wasn’t as clean as I would expect (eg urine on the toilet seat from a previous guest), only one towel in a double room. Our room overlooked a very loud and noisy wedding reception which continued until midnight.

Great location

The air conditioning unit was faulty and therefore so loud we were unable to sleep

the staff were very friendly. The guest service was quick. the location is fantastic, very close to the train station, the tube and the Eurostar station.

The room was ok. I paid almost 500 pounds for one night, and the room had an awful view. The room was very small compared to others in the same range of prices.

Lack of vegetarian and vegan choices in chambers at breakfast. We spoke to staff about this who were very apologetic and noted this for future guests. We had 2 rooms,one was too hot and the other too cold and we were unable to adjust temperature.

Location was perfect as I was traveling on a very early Eurostar. The room was very comfortable, very clean and modern however, considering the price of the room, perhaps I was expecting more.

I had higher expectations of the room itself. Considering the excruciating price of a room service, sandwich, the bread was cold and hard. It was sourdough but anyone who knows anything about sourdough would tell you it can not be eaten cold if you want to keep your teeth. The filling was delicious and so were the accompanying chips. Not a lot of choices on desserts.
