From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was great! The staff was so attentive and accommodating. We celebrated my birthday there, and they even decorated our bed for the special occasion! 😍 The guy at reception made sure we had a great time, and the lady from the restaurant took care of us the entire time. The Thai salad was TO DIE FOR!! And the breakfast was very well served. The views are stunning, as the resort is a bit uphill. Yes, there are stairs to get to the beach (they’re not bad unless you have mobility issues). The hotel doesn’t have a beach for swimming, but literally next to it, there’s a resort with plenty of sun beds and a big restaurant. They never charged me for the sun bed, but it was low season, and I also ordered a drink and a snack. This is the perfect place to enjoy the quietness, stunning views, and beautiful beach. That’s exactly what we were looking for, and we had such a relaxing experience, made even better by the warmth of the staff. HIP offers complimentary longtail boat transfers to the pier, and the entire resort staff helps you carry your luggage up and down. These guys are INCREDIBLE! I cannot wait to come back. Thank you, HIP team, for making our stay so memorable. 💕

The towels had a bit of humidity smell (but nothing tragic), but everything was very clean!

Close to the long beach, but takes a lot of steps to get there. No direct beach under the hotel. Nice views but I thought the view from the room will be better than it was. Next time I'd probably go somewhere in more convenient location as you are fully reliant on taxi boats or foot, but walk is 30mins + in the heat.

The towels smelled really really bad. I honestly was traumatised anytime I had to wipe my hands, body or face. Recommendation for the hotel to purchase new towels.. these already had its life, it's time to let go...

Great location if you are wanting a more chilled stay. Away from the centre and the busy area of phi phi. Amazing waters surrounding the area, but be prepared to walk up what seems like a million steps to get to the resort!! Would not recommend to stay here unless you are prepared to go by boat every time you want to go to the main part of phi phi. Not much around the resort itself.

Staff were a little cold at times, also had a few instances where prices of things were inconsistent - for example my friends and I were told different prices for things, like boat trips and longboat services to the harbour. Just seemed to be a lot of miscommunication throughout our stay and when voicing this it wasn’t received well by the staff. It’s a lovely resort and the views are amazing but it could have been better if the staff were a little more welcoming!
