Mark was an excellent host, and an obvious expert on the subject since he gave us a lovely service, cooking for us for breakfast, keeping our room clean and tidy as well as helping us in everything we needed.

Great location, handy for either the sea front or the local pubs and restaurants. Mark is a great host and cooks a fabulous breakfast.

Comfortable, lots of space in the room, very clean and friendly hosts - we accidentally booked for 1 adult instead of 2 but Mark and Helene were very understanding and happy to accommodate us.
Would be good to have some plant milk at breakfast but otherwise very happy!

I would highly recommend Merton House, great breakfast, the owner was very helpful, he did me packed breakfast cause I had to get early to do a half marathon

If I have to say something negative, I would room was slightly cold for me, but heating was on full blast - it one of the coldest days of they year, so no real wonder. Our house and the office was also a bit cool that day...

More than pleased definitely the place to stay in Worthing. Mark the proprietor was a star, very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent the full English was incredibly prepared and delicious. We normally stay at 4 star hotels but from now on we wouldn't stay anywhere else Worthing.

Room 2 is front of building and close to a very busy road the noise of which was intrusive and resulted in an interrupted night's sleep.
