It was record heat in the UK during my stay. No AC but a large fan was provided which helped.

The hotel was very clean and had modern facilities with clean fresh towels and toiletries provided, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean.
The bar and dinning area have been refurbished but have been styled in a retro vibe which added to the experience, there was good choice for breakfast which was of a good standard, the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and we will certainly be staying there again.

A really well renovated period feature pub with modern rooms. Friendly staff, bed was v comfortable, bathroom was nicely fitted out. Only thing I would say is the shower needed a shelf to put your bottles on. We found a parking spot outside on the street so happy days!
