Golden Horn Hotel

Buona struttura situata in posizione veramente strategica, a 10 minuti a piedi da palazzo Topkapi, Basilica cisterna, Santa Sofia e vicino ai mezzi di trasporto compresa la metro che ti porta nella parte asiatica. Stanza Confortevole e staff gradevole e collaborativo. Sicuramente da riconsiderare se ritornassi ad istambul

Di fatto niente, ma se posso segnalare una colazione "più" salata in stile europeo.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, and we especially appreciated the service from the breakfast team under the management of Seçkin Kaya, the Food & Beverage Manager. He and his team were welcoming and professional. The hotel was very clean, including the room, bathroom and shower. The towels and bed linen were all fresh and clean. The location is excellent and very convenient for getting around Istanbul.

The room was quite small, although it was very clean and comfortable. The lift is also very small and there is only one, so at busy times there could be a bit of a wait. One small thing that surprised us was that complimentary bottled water was not routinely provided in the room. Most hotels we have stayed at provide a couple of small bottles each day. When we asked, the staff kindly brought us some water, but explained that it is not normally placed in the rooms. The bathroom amenities were also quite basic, with only shampoo and body wash provided. It would have been nice to have a few additional items such as a toothbrush/toothpaste kit and shoe-shine kit.

Breakfast was superb , staff very friendly particularly Hayreddij and Kenan. Location brilliant for major sites, restaurants and public transport..2 easy changes and you're at the airport, not stuck in traffic.

People smoking on the breakfast terrace, but that's just Turkye.

The breakfast attending staff wass very careful and hospitable

Rooms are very small and in a really bad shape, the hotel is definitly not a 4 star hotel, 3 at the most.
