I enjoyed that the hotel staff was helpful and was able to book me in late at night. They were available through out the day and night. They had a spa and resturant on site that you can take advantage of and the wifi had no issues through out my stay. The also had a store to buy from and great for last minute gifts before you leave the country. The staff was able to assist me with obtaining a taxi as well whenever i needed one. The hotel also had 3 working elevators.

The staff was great execpt the resturant staff. It was a little confusing as to either you need to wait to be seated or seat yourself. The resturant staff acted a little to familiar with me instead of being professional and they didn't have the ingredients for certain dishes that i wanted. The 3 working elevators however, they werent all connected under one switch board so if you wanted to get to your floor fast and the elevators weren't on the floor you were on, you would have to press all three elevator buttons to see which one will get to you first.

When we arrived in almaty, we asked them if they have available room or can we do early check in. But they told us that they don’t have available room

The location of the hotel is perfect for those who book tours to canyons and lakes. The meet up point is right next to the hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. Housekeeping changed our slippers and added more bottles of water, changed bath towels and trash bins. SPA has really good massage services. The view from the room is amazing

The rooms definitely need some work. The floor is patchy, there is only one usable outlet to just simply charge your phone (in a two person room). The second outlet was behind the counter and was actually ment for the fridge or kettle. Closet doors don’t close properly, the faucet in the bathroom was placed in a wrong position so it caved a hole in the bathroom wall which looks bad. The furniture was falling apart, so there was a random table/chair leg to hold the drawer. The fridge, when plugged in, was annoyingly loud. Even though the staff was friendly, we requested 2 breakfasts to be packed up because we left at 5am for the tour and could not attend our prepaid breakfast, we received only 1 packed breakfast, but there were 2 of us. We also got stuck in an elevator 3 times, we informed the receptionist and they were pretty surprised that it happened. We also used SPA services, which are not included in the price of the stay. 40000kzt for full body massage, spa access and tea. The massage was great, but the SPA…. the pool and jacuzzi were cold, the saunas were constantly “watered” by the staff so they asked to move to a different sauna a few times. The tea that they say is included in the package is ONE teabag in a turkey coffee pot for TWO people.
