King Alfred Hotel

This is my returning stay over the past 4 months, great menu and staff. Quality of stay fabulous. Great summer menu and love the bedroom. Fab views too.

Everything remained fabulous. This is my 3rd time of staying, when in the area for work. I travel to the area monthly or so. Staff very professional, know a great deal and quality of service is wonderful. Food is great too. Comfy and very clean bedroom/ en-suite.

Nice sized room. Comfortable bed

The outside lights left on 24/7 that lit up the room. We asked if these could be turned off and were told that these normally were but the staff had forgotten. We were told that this would be raised with the manager. The next night was exactly the same. The music in the bar was turned on loud at 7am and we could hear this in our room. The second morning we had to call into the kitchen as no staff were present when we went down for breakfast. The chef came out and made our coffee and took our order. When we checked out the staff weren’t really bothered and didn’t even say good bye
