Parkhotel Graz - Traditional Luxury

We had a wonderful stay (6 nights), perfect location in walking distance to the old town, tram station almost in front of the hotel, large, very quiet rooms, excellent breakfast buffet. The in-house made cakes are fabulous, and the wellness area is great. A particular highlight is the gourmet restaurant „Zur goldenen Birn“, we had a dinner there that was truly outstanding, the restaurant has really lived up to the expectations created by its standing in the Guide Michelin and Gault&Millaud. The staff was very competent and friendly.

The only negative point was it’s erratic internet connection, which was not up to the standard of the hotel.

The staff was super friendly and helpful! Also, there is a smart tv (albeit quite small) so you can watch youtube n stuff.. The room for 1 was great and cozy. I left for another hotel I booked before this one and really regret it... Also the breakfast seems great, I didn't get to fully enjoy it as my work required me to be up and running fairly early and Im not a morning person! But from what I did manage to gather, it was very nice

The shower are classic European showers where they're half open. Mine also had this feature where the water on the rail has a tendency to prefer dropping out rather than in the basin leaving the floor very wet after every shower (No matter the shower head's facing direction - believe me, I tried).

Esperienza eccezionale. Abbiamo apprezzato il soggiorno sotto ogni punto di vista. La camera era spaziosa, comoda, pulita e fornita di ogni comfort moderno senza rinunciare all'eleganza. Presente anche il bidet, elemento tutt'altro che scontato. La colazione, il ristorante e il bar si sono rivelati superlativi. Sia per la scelta, sia per l'ambiente sia per l'altissima qualità delle proposte. La piscina era spaziosa, pulita e tranquilla, ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata passata a visitare la città. Il personale è stato inappuntabile, eccellente e molto disponibile. Menzione speciale per il barman, che è stato particolarmente cortese e disponibile per tutta la durata del nostro soggiorno. Il parcheggio interno è sufficientemente spazioso e di facile accesso.

It is a very beautiful hotel and it is well maintained and clean. The pool and spa facilites are excellent.

I felt like the staff in the restaurant and those in charge of the breakfast were not very well trained. They were not very helpful nor were they particularly friendly. While this is typical of customer service in Austria, this is one area where the hotel could up its game in order to compete with other hotels.
