The size of a two bedroom suite exceeded my expectations. Great location on the beach

One of the bedrooms faced the hallway and sound proofing wasn’t great - could hear people passing by and talking plus the music coming from the restaurants and bars on the street

It was spacious and clean and very comfortable

There was sometimes bad smell in the sofa room where my son was sleeping

We booked four nights at this hotel, and unfortunately, it does not feel like a four-star hotel. The photos appear to be genuine, but they seem to be at least 10–15 years old. The hotel has clearly seen better days and is in need of an update. The description states that “Hadley’s Club services are available at an extra cost.” Like us, you probably have no idea what that actually means before arriving. In practice, parts of the hotel experience — including the pool and pool area — appear to be operated separately by Hadley’s. This means that even though you are staying at the hotel, access to certain areas and facilities comes with additional charges. For example, if you manage to find a sunbed near the pool, you may be asked to pay an additional €50 per day. Want to enter the adults-only (18+) area? That costs extra as well. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency. There is very little clear signage or information explaining which areas are included in your hotel stay and which require additional payment. You only really discover this once you try to use the facilities. For a hotel marketed as a four-star property, this is disappointing. The experience feels fragmented, with additional charges for facilities you would reasonably expect to be part of the hotel stay.
