The Staff were exceptional

Nothing I didn’t like about the hotel my one comment would be the rooms are a little tired. The location is superb

Absolutely beautiful views from our room, the breakfast restaurant and sunbathing area. Room was very comfortable and cleaned and a bottle of water provided every day. Sunbathing area is good with access to the sea for swimming. It’s a 15 / 20 minute easy walk into the old town along the promenade. There are restaurants & shops along the way. Good section at breakfast. Pool and pool area is small but quiet and peaceful. Finally, the staff are very helpful. Reception staff gave us advise on how to get around to visit Kotor etc, and when we had a problem with water pressure one day it was sorted in half an hour. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful suite on 3rd floor facing the Sea with stunning views of mountains and fabulous views with stone veranda and beach beds were free & umbrella.

The bathroom was poorly lit and needed another light or extra spotlight as very hard to see when having showers or brushing your teeth etc.

The location of the hotel was excellent for us. 10/10 Our first night in Montenegro was spent at a different property approximately 50m from Perla, the alternative property was excellent value for money. Lots of thought had gone into the room, Nespresso coffee maker, tea bags, milk. Perla in comparison seemed a little dated and not great value for money. Reception staff at Perla were pleasant.

The breakfast buffet offered lots of choice but the hot food was lukewarm and generally unappealing. Someone cooking eggs to order would have been a big plus. Also we loved sitting outside for breakfast but you had to take care crossing the promenade due to bikes, scooters and the odd random car. The coffee at breakfast was a huge disappointment, only two coffee machines, the one outside never made the coffee hot enough and you had to spend too long waiting for your turn at the one inside. On the last day of our holiday only one machine was operating which was not acceptable with a hotel operating at full capacity. An alternative solution should have been organised by hotel management. Finally not once during the six days at the hotel did anyone question whether we were residents, I think anyone could have taken advantage of the buffet breakfast and not been challenged. A warm friendly service at breakfast would have been nice, very little communication not even a friendly smile. We did enjoy our stay but sadly the hotel didn’t live up to our expectations.
