Breakfast was basic - cereal, yoghurt, fruit, sand toast. This was fine for me and l didn't need anything else. Location was very good - quiet, near the station and very pleasant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable.
Bathroom facilities were OK but could do with updating, eg shower didn't drain properly.

Continental breakfast was good. Staff helpful and friendly.
I had asked if we could check in earlier. No reply by email. When I phoned, a recording told me to ring after 4 pm. I much prefer to speak to a human being even if my request cannot be granted.

The room was small but comfortable we slept well and it matched the price we paid, ideal for exploring Chepstow and Wye valley. Breakfast was included which is - cereal and Toast, not continental as listed which suited us better. We were concerned about some reviews that would have put us off if we had read them prior to booking, as this is a B&B not to be compared with a modern Hotel where you may be paying upward of £110+ breakfast at £15/pp. The Staff were great and it was just fine for our two day break. We ate here one evening - great pizza's
My only criticism is that Booking.com, had a P for parking listed, there is no parking here it is on a busy one way road. There is a pay and display carpark diagonally opposite. at £2.30 /2h or a 300yrd walk to 24hr park at £2.30/24h. So a fair bit of car moving done to avoid fines or an early morning rush.
