The Cwtch B and B Chepstow

Location was perfect, no noise, and right at the top of the town so everything was within easy reach. Quick and effortless check-in as Mel sent all the information needed before we got there. The room we stayed in was a tad small but directly outside was a huge communal room with table/chairs and sofa to relax in, and eat the delicious fish and chips from downstairs. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/cooker/microwave/pots and pans/cutlery/ironing facilities that all guests are free to use, which I thought was amazing! There is even a washing machine. All in all, I was very impressed, and would definitely stay here again.

Quite steep stairs to get to the rooms (just a personal observation as we are pensioners and had quite a bit of luggage to haul up to the room) but that wouldn't bother the younger guests.

I liked the location . It was very close to the bus station and Marks and Spencers Food. The T7 bus starts from the bus station except early in the morning 8.30am and 17.00 pm and 18,00 pm when it starts from Magor Queens Gardens. This bus goes to Bristol The kitchen was clean and had a washing machine and dryer. My double bed was comfortable with a soft mattress. Staff from the Fish and Chip shop carried my case up and down the stairs . The owner sounds pleasant on the phone but wants to keep to house rules Wifi worked

Room good size Very basic furniture for the price of room Could not figure out how to get British TV. No staff available to help you. Says B and B on sign but no Breakfast, Understood before arrival

Impressed with layout and additional shared areas. Well equipped kitchen and shared dining/lounge area to relax in. Central position, close to station and ideal for walking activities. Efficient communication and easy access to property.

Room was hot due to weather and nature of being in a roof space. This would not stop me coming again as the positives far outweighed this difficulty. Noisy internal doors.

Close to racecourse ( my reason for visit)

It was advertised as a BandB which anyone would assume included breakfast! There was no offer of breakfast and no staff to ask for a breakfast! I had to go to local cafe which cost me 2x£14 which should be reimbursed
