Eine Zeitreise. Man wird in die 1970er Jahre zurückversetzt. Ganz bewusst wird darauf verzichtet, das Inventar und die Möblierung zu erneuern. Das entschleunigt.

Frühstück war reichlich, ließ keine Wünsche offen. Auch das Essen und die Weine sind sehr gut. Die Wirtin ist sehr freundlich, man hat das Gefühl willkommen zu sein.
Die Dusche war sehr beengt, und der Teppich hatte Flecken, ansonsten schönes Zimmer.

Super freundlich. Klasse Frühstück direkt am Tisch serviert.
Als ich dort war, war es zum Glück nicht mehr so warm. An heißen Tagen wäre aber eine Klimaanlage hilfreich.

Dinner was local cooking: a watery pork stew with potatoes--interesting but I would not order it again. Buffet breakfast was OK but not at all special except for superb hot chocolate, made with 100% cocoa instead of overly sugary Nesquik or an equally awful equivalent. The server at breakfast was pleasant and efficient.
The bells of a nearby church rang loudly every 15 minutes night and day. The shower enclosure was tiny--75 x 75 cm and the water controls projected about 30 cm into the space. There were flies all over, especially in the dining room, and the hotel was prepared: there were fly swatters all around for guests to use.
