Couldn't fault the breakfast, the kippers were delicious 😋
My wife didn't like climbing the hill to the hotel, it didn't bother me.

Good location. Parking for motorcycle close by. Very nice owner who gave me a lovely breakfast.
Price but it was TT week and everyone on the island seems to throw the saddle on during this fortnight!

the best nights sleep i had in the isle of mann,the adelphi is in a quiet residential area,and i could barely hear the other guests.Room had wide opening windows (godsend) and was spotlessly clean,i have a pretty bad dust allergy and i had zero problems,the owners are lovely too.
breakfast is a little small,and the rooms are a bit dated decor wise,but would definitely stay here again rather than one of the hotels on the main strip.

Lovely people who were kind and helpful - they even brought our cases to the ferry terminal allowing us to fully enjoy every minute of our last day in Douglas
A long walk up the very steep hill which is Broadway
Could’ve been cleaner and better presented - *curtains drooping due to broken hooks letting in light
*challenging wardrobe space under the eaves, ok for a 3ft child

I definitely like the room and the location although it needs a walk from ferry station for 20 mins if no bus. The host is really nice. Arranged a very early breakfast when we need to catch a ferry. The English breakfast is really great 😃. They also arranged a very late check-in.
The double bed is combined of two single beds so was bit uncomfortable sometimes otherwise it's a lovely place

Host was friendly and helpful. Plug in heater in room. Breakfast included.
Decoration was shabby. Dirty carpets in entrance and stairs; not good first impression. Also had to ask for clean teapot at breakfast as first one was really badly stained inside and out. Bath towel rather than bath sheet. No choice of toast.

Host was amazing, despite me starting work long before the start of breakfast period, he left a few supplies in the fridge overnight for me to grab a reasonable bite in the morning.
Stairs are a little steep and narrow, as is to be expected of properties of this age. Please note if bringing a lot of luggage, or if you have difficulty with stairs you will need one of the lower rooms.

Place was a bit dated...Could have done with a lick of paint in the dining area.

No frills bnb uphill from the main drag in Douglas, very friendly owners and very welcoming. The room was basic but clean and perfectly comfortable for a gent travelling alone, breakfast was simple but plentiful.

breakfast from 8.00am i usually leave any hotel before 7.30 I know it was the week of the practice for TT but I wouldn't normally expect to pay £100 per night for the room i stayed in
