Friendly staff, spacious & clean rooms, decent stay

Located on car distance from Lugo city

Perfect location, room was very clean.

A bit chaotic on arrival entrance was full of party guests and children everywhere so it was extremely noisy. I would suggest that the hotel has a different entrance for overnight staying guests? 3pm check-in is also not convenient. We waited in the cafe bar area untilcheck-in time but it was extremely noisy because of the party's! We could not walk around the gardens again because of the party guests. Spa bath was a great feature. However, signage needs to be in place on how to operate because the on/off button was sensitive to touch and it was turned on by accident and the floor then became soaked because we could not turn the fountains off! The spa bath fountains also need regular cleaning / sterilising treatments because black residue came out and then floated in the bath water along with hair from previous guests! So we did not use it again, which was a waste of money booking a spa suite. The ceiling above the bath was damp and black from the bath steam. Therefore, I would suggest a more powerful extraction unit. The floor was also very water damaged, but probably from flooding due to no operational signage on how to use the spa facility! We did report to reception the issue we had regarding the black residue floating in the bath water, and they did apologise. Would we stay there again? Yes, we would because overall it's a very good hotel.
