Hotel As Torres da Hermida

Fantastic in every way. The staff are incredible - so helpful and thoughtful. Really well managed by Melvin. He is very responsive. I brought a group here and everyone loved it. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and furnished- each one unique. The food is excellent. A real standout property in the area . We will be back - if there’s space!

Can’t fault it at all - which is unusual for me!

This hotel is absolutely beautiful.

Our room, and I think most Rooms, faced Southwest. That means in the afternoon with the sun pouring in you had to close the windows and the big blackout shutters or the room would heat up quickly and without air-conditioning. So basically we paid a lot of money to stay in an expensive and beautiful cave. We couldn’t open the blinds until the sun went down. Also, it’s a ways off the Camino so the hotel arranged a taxi to and from the Camino and charged us €20 each way. I’m guessing they even made money off the deal.

Beautifully restored and wonderfully designed. It’s a great feeling to be surrounded by such beauty.

We were really looking forward to staying here after seeing the beautiful pictures of this hotel. Didn’t mind paying more and being a bit out of the way. Unfortunately. Neither the beauty or the surroundings of this hotel could make up for the lack of warmth and hospitality we experienced. The main focus was to hurry us to dinner and breakfast within their time frames and heard us out. They just wanted to get rid of all their guests as soon as possible. Dinner was an all around bad experience. We were made to feel like an imposition rather than a valued guest. Breakfast was much the same. Pre scrambled eggs in a pan and giant cups of watered down coffee. Absolutely tasteless. Not what you’d expect from hotel of this caliber. There’s nothing to do there, no amenities offered. It’s in the middle of nowhere and though they have a shuttle bus we were told to call a cab Not at all worth it.
