everything feels fresh clean and new, there's a small steam room and sauna to relax in, and the rooms were fantastic!

Good overall

Room: Spacious, comfortable and very well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. Cleanliness: The room and hotel facilities were very clean and well kept throughout my stay. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast with a good variety of choices. Everything was fresh, well prepared and enjoyable. Service: The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Service was attentive from check-in until check-out, especially from Shahril, the porter. Location: Convenient location, making it easy to get around Johor Bahru. Overall experience: A very comfortable and pleasant stay that made me feel genuinely welcomed.

Nothing at all. My stay was excellent from start to finish. The room was comfortable and clean; the staff were warm and attentive, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I genuinely could not find anything to complain about.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Although the hotel and its staff clearly lacked initiative and fell short of service expectations, they were very quick to do service recovery when given constructive feedback. This is commendable. Generally, all the staff from check in to service staff at the pool, housekeeping staff and restaurant staff at buffet breakfast and Tosca were all friendly and helpful! :)

We had written to them to inform that we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary - a significant milestone, and asked if they could decorate our room. Their replies were slow and mechanical. We also enquired about the dinner as our room rate included breakfast and dinner. Their replies were slow and lacked initiative. If we hadn’t asked, we weren’t informed that the buffet dinner was not available during our visit and we had to keep digging for more information about the type of dinner, which restaurant etc we would be getting instead. Despite reminding them that we needed the information to plan for a memorable anniversary dinner. We were also very disappointed that we arrived at a room that faced a construction site and the room was not decorated at all. Nothing to greet us or wish us a happy 25th anniversary. It was honestly downright disappointing on such a happy and special occasion which meant a lot to us. And it was a Monday. The hotel was quiet with few guests. We also wrote in to ask for early check in a few times but they refused to commit till the very end. So we showed up at past 3 pm as we didn’t want to impose on them. But they were kind to give us a late check out upon our request. When we gave feedback that the room wasn’t decorated despite writing to them, the staff asked to see evidence. I showed them that it was in the very first message that I had sent and subsequently there were many messages/ enquiries on the dinner. So they told us to go for a walk and they quickly added 2 swan towels and 2 balloons on the bed. Well at least they tried. Shortly, a staff brought a complimentary piece of anniversary cake to us. We are grateful that they took immediate action to make some effort because it sweetened the experience for us right away. After all we were there to celebrate and create happy memories… so we didn’t let their lack of initiative upset us or ruin our day :) And we simply drew the curtains instead of asking for a change of room.
