Such an amazing place to visit and stay at. Lots of walks to choose from and quiet spaces to enjoy the lake and surrounds.
We parked our hire car in the visitor centre car park to avoid the falling tree branches (very windy) and unfortunately someone scraped the car. Very frustrating and disappointing. Not something the lodge could control but has put a dampener on the stay.

Everything we could have wanted was in the room , the gas heating had the room warm in no time and created a lovely ambiance. The staff were able to help me with my dietary requirements. The food was delicious.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t what we wanted but that isn’t the fault of the venue.

Lovely staff, very clean room and great options for fitness levels regarding the walks available. The Lodge provided great meals during the day.

The location and the National Park and scenery.
Terrible value for money….very expensive accommodation for tired, outdated and poorly equipped facilities. Advertised with wood burning heater and arrived to find an old fashioned, noisey gas heater which we had no choice but to leave on because of the cold.
Pitch black walk between the cabins and the restaurant. Saved by the light on the iPhone!!
