The location was good. Comfy bed, good breakfast but very disappointing room with several problems
Booked several weeks before our stay and requested a room with a bath which we checked rooms did have baths
Arrived to a small room with a shower !! Unfortunately no rooms with baths available when we spoke to reception
Hot tap did not work
Badly scratched toilet seat
Only one chair but two people staying
Personally we do not feel this rooms warranted 4 star rating

It is perfectly located in the town centre close to all main amenities. It is paired with a nice bistro and pub. The room was very cosy, the bed comfortable and the staff was very friendly. It does not have its own parking but there is a large council parking just across the road. Also train stations only 5 min walk so it is easy to travel to the hotel to avoid search for car parking slot. For us it was the best option for our visit to attend a concert in the Manor House which is located just in 3 min walk. Will definitely stay there again.

Location
Bathroom dirty in the shower. Shower door came off hinges as warn. No shower gel in bottle in shower. Toilet seat was fitted so wouldn’t stay up
