The only thing that made the stay worth while was the location, very quiet at the Ganga riverside walk. The beds were comfortable. The room size good. The bathroom quite nice.

The description on Booking and on the properties website were not correct. First of all: the price when we booked should have been 6200 INR - when we arrived it was 7000. The reviews on Booking praised a non-existing restaurant. The breakfast should have been included in the price - it wasn't, we had to pay 1500 extra for those three breakfast that we had, so in total we ended paying 2300 INR extra, which acutally raised the price with 30%. The breakfast was brought from a near-by restaurant, and took ages. Should have been from 8 AM which was impossible since the restaurants opened at 9.30. According to the description it should have been daily cleaning - no such thing. There was a kettle in the room, but no cups and the cable was to short to reach any socket. The wardrobe door was broken, half the wardrobe was impossible to use. There were lots of drawers for things but they were dirty. It was not possible to reach the hotel by car, we had to carry the bags nearly 100 meters. The staff was friendly and helpful but didn't speak much English. It must have happened something to the property, because the bridge between the bank and the hotel had collapsed and they repaired it using the iron gates with mats of plastic grass on top, felt shaky. And about the hotel website: it has a photo with a swimmingpool as a start picture - no such thing, and the rest on the website was perhaps true historically, but not anymore.

Location on the banks of ganga..

1) Not accessible by road.. we have to pull trolley bags and move 2) No buffet Breakfast 3) Toilet Flush leaking 4) very small rooms 5) No bathroom foot mat. 6) No handwash in dispenser 7) Toilet jet Spray jammed so water was not coming out. 8) paid 2800+ 500 extra for 1 night stay in room no. 12.

Location and proximity to the river

No guest management, no space for dining , priced like other very good hotels but rooms were very small. All night there were other guests checking in and no body to help them,so they made all the ruckus and loud noise ,we couldn't get an hour of sleep

Location, friendliness of staff, veg sandwiches for breakfast, all missing but then requested items were delivered, big room, quiet, good for access to city or Ganga walks or Aarti.

It's not that we did not like but some staff regarding service should be improved. Check in for 2 people but only 1 towel, no toilet paper, kettle but no mugs not mentioning tea or coffee sachets, filter water on request. Nothing was mentioned, we had to ask , all was delivered but I think staff should be more upfront and informative. Open plan bathrom so floor mats would be great. Entry to hotel unacceptable. No logo in english so found hotel only thanks to pictures on web.

Location is very good riverside. Small but sweet. Staff is very cooperative

The back side of property was very calm with Ganges flowing since it was a car-free zone. Staff was friendly.

Room service needs to be called for cleaning the room. They do no come themselves or have a proper schedule. Food in kitchen was overpriced and service very poor and once i went to kitchen to order then I even saw the cook scratching his butt while cooking. I did not feel like eating there again. There is no lift so if you want to order something you need to climb till 2nd floor. Reception does not respond always. Our room's sink was leaking. No car can reach the main entrance. You have to walk the slant everytime. No good restaurants nearby. Main market and attractions are very far away. All in all I will not goto this hotel again.

It was right next to ganga ghat so was a good view. Also they provided heaters nd kettle which helped.

Cost was a bit high for the services provided. Rooms had no view at all which was the only negative point.
