What a brilliant stay at Taronga Zoo for our final night of our Australia honeymoon! Staff were so friendly and helpful, and upon check in had left a card and a kangaroo plushie in our room congratulating us which was such a special touch. We booked a koala view room and were able to see him in the tree outside our window pretty much the whole time we were there, which was again a special touch and a lovely memory to have. Included in our stay was our access to the zoo which we were free to come and go as we pleased, plus a walk around the sanctuary which is roped off from other visitors and just for hotel guests, which gave us a chance to see free roaming animals and learn a little more about them - again we could just about see them from our room once we went back to look! We also went on the night tour of the zoo which was an upcharge but very reasonable, and had a great time seeing the animals after dark - our tour guides Edge and Andrew were great and very knowledgeable. You are able to book their restaurant Me-Gal for dinner but we opted to eat in the hotel bar instead as they did a lovely pizza and burger rather than a full sit down meal, however we had breakfast included which was in the restaurant so we still got to experience that too - both had great views of Sydney Harbour. We had planned to leave early for more sightseeing after checking out but the zoo was so expansive that we ran out of time! Staff were happy to hold our luggage for us all day whilst we were in the zoo which made our whole last day stress free and enjoyable.

The staff were exceptional and went above and beyond to help. The room was very comfortable and the location sublime, apart from the traffic to get there. Breakfast was included in our package and was very good. Due to family commitments we weren’t able to spend much time in the zoo, but we enjoyed the early morning tour before the zoo opened. The card and gift were greatly appreciated for my milestone birthday.

The experience was amazing. We saw Koalas out side our balcony window. The zoo was clean. Food at the restaurant was good.
Would like if the dinner menu changed daily or had specials. The area was a little difficult to navigate if you had not been there before
