It was homely and welcoming

It was clean and quite surprising after the reviews we had read. It had new carpets although a bit dazzling.
There was no personality to the place. We didn’t check in until 8pm as we had to eat out as the restaurant and bar was closed. A lovely young lady was waiting for us to check in. We stayed two nights (for a wedding in the area), and we never saw a single soul, not even another member of staff. The reception desk had a note on with contact mobile number! Security was a personal code to get in , so we did feel safe.
