Fantastic location and great communication with the host. Easy check-in and room has lots of character. It was 33 degrees while we stayed and even though the ac didn’t feel the strongest, it kept the room temperature very good.

The property was well located, had good AC and the staff communicated everything really clearly.
We weren’t aware the room was on the top floor, which involved going up 5 stairwells with luggage. Fortunately we were fit enough to do this but an elderly person may struggle to do so.

The apartment has a great location near San Marco
The apartment feels quite old and would benefit from some renovation and updating. Unfortunately, the view from the window was not as expected — instead of seeing the canal, there was mainly a wall, which was a little disappointing.
Regarding the tourist tax, I was not able to pay it in cash because I didn’t have any cash with me. However, I offered to pay by card/transfer to a Visa card, but this option was not available.
