Breakfast was very good. We were in an apartment affiliated with the hotel, very easy walk.
We were a bit disappointed that we needed to purchase additional coffee pods; only 6 pods provided (3 were decaf) for four adults for three nights.

Apartment is spacious and in a fantastic location, close to many restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the Pantheon. Felt very secure being opposite the Italian government building with military police stationed outside all the time.
Charging €5 for toilet paper when we were only given 2 rolls over 4 nights. I know from previous reviews that apartments are only given a starter pack but it’s part of the Nazionale Hotel and surely providing a couple of extra rolls to guests in the apartments isn’t too hard. Just felt very stingy.

Wonderful location, safe neighborhood as it’s close to guarded government buildings, centrally located within easy walking distance to main sites (Pantheon, Archeological Park, Colosseum, Trevi fountain etc). Many restaurants and cafes just around the corner. Wonderful staff who were responsive and helpful (the apartment is maintained by Hotel Nazionale so staff are available 24/7). Very clean and spacious. Great deal for a prime location with room for a family to spread out a bit.
Everything was perfect but one addition that would be helpful is a clothes line. There is a washing machine but no dryer, and no balcony or line to dry clothes on. We had to drape clothes over chairs which was not ideal.

Location
Couldn’t provide enough toilet paper, and without lift it was difficult to climb with your luggage
