Orama Hotel & Spa

Absolutely loved this beautiful property. Was located a short (<10mins) to the edge of Fira and perfect to escape the crowds while being super close to everything and value for money. The pool area was gorgeous (multiple pools) and the included buffet breakfast was generous and varied. Staff were friendly and polite and our room was spacious, immaculate and with loads of storage space and huge rain shower. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

Nothing to comment on other than the pool bar/restaurant staff could be a bit more attentive.

My room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The were plenty of spots around the pool and the sun loungers were luxury. The breakfast choice was excellent. It was well located for an easy walk into Fira.

It is on a busy road and my Caldera view was over the road, so it didn’t feel so private. I probably wouldn’t choose this room again to be honest.

It was modern and clean with good facilities. I liked the interior design.

There wasn’t enough space to store clothes and the open plan bathroom wasn’t ok with me.

The Spa service we experienced was excellent. The therapist was professional, polite and highly skilled. It was the highlight. The hotel itself is well laid out and aesthetically pleasing. Very modern design. We had the family which had a great amount of space.

Housekeeping let the team down. Our towels were taken and not replenished. The used crockery was not cleaned. When asked to have it replaced we were advised it would be done the next day, which would have left us with no clean crockery for basic tea and coffee. The housekeeper upon the second clean of the room, proceeded to wash the crockery is the bathroom basin with hand soap. When doing this clean, she still left a dirty cup behind in the bathroom. No team and coffee items were replenished the entire stay. Spills of tea and coffee did not get wiped down for two days. There was a discarded clothing item from a previous guest under the bed (which we found on the 3rd day) it was an accessible location as the bed was on a platform. There was no excuse for this. Mattresses not particularly comfortable and linen lacking. Top sheet and a very thin waffle blanket. Housekeeping very average leaving beds looking not well made and cushions discarded. Food Our only experience with room service was having had two burgers delivered one of which had not been cooked and the middle was raw. Both arrived cool to the touch and the chips were cold. Both meals were delivered to the room (which was a very short walk from the kitchen, with no cover on them. The resort was at low capacity so staff not busy, but sadly not particularly friendly and appeared not well trained.
