The house was a good size and the beds were very comfortable. It is in a great location with ponies coming right up outside.

The location of this property was amazing. A couple of hundred yards into the village just across from common grazing land and a few mins into open wide spaces ideal for walking or biking. Great to have visits from the horses, cows and donkeys right outside the house. Three ample bedrooms and well equipped kitchen .

The only thing we possibly moan about, and I have seen others have commented on as well, was no lock on the bathroom door, (only one toilet) , especially as we were a mixed age family… regrettably no privacy, ,

Location of three bedroom house was excellent, within walking distance to main part of Brockenhurst. Owners thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable, even leaving pack of choc biscuits and milk. Towels and tea towels provided.Tea, coffee etc plus items such as washing up liquid, toilet rolls, kitchen roll etc plus picnic plates were all there to use, also various leaflets/maps regarding New Forest. We also had note letting us know if we want anything, please let them know. Very thoughtful owners to even include a first aid box (which luckily we did not use!) Only down side - only one upstairs toilet. Very homely and a lot of thought put into making visitors' stay enjoyable - worth the money.

Excellent location. Spacious. Good sized garden

Poor quality bedding. Towels not big enough and looked old. Furniture not very stylish or modern. This house was better than it looked in the photographs and was perfectly adequate for one night. I would want somewhere more stylish for a week's stay but that is just personal preference.

Lovely tidy house close to the village centre. Lots of board games and books available. Everything you need in the kitchen, even a cafetière. Good size bath, the house is very quiet you can’t hear the traffic outside. Rooms are decorated nicely with comfy fresh bedding. Lots of towels, too and extra blankets in case it gets cold. They thought of everything that a normal household has like ironing board, baby high chair, hoover, etc.

Mattresses are very soft which gave me back pain but I guess that’s preference. Despite stated in the inventory there were no toiletries. We didn’t bring shower gel or shampoo which wasn’t a huge problem since the shops are only 5min walking distance away.

Spotlessly clean comfortable property on main road into village. Just 10 minutes walk up road and turn right for tesco express and village centre or turn left for 2 pubs and an italian restaurant. Horses ponies and foals everywhere including right outside the front garden, even got woken up by a cow mooing! Huge open grasslands all around, plenty of walking cycling routes close at hand. A fabulous spot from which to explore the new forest. Really glad I found this house and chose Brockenhurst for our stay rather than Lyndhurst. Would definitely book again.

Only minor gripe the lock on the bathroom door a bit sticky maybe not so good if you had children with you and the induction hob bit tricky to use juggling the size of the pans, otherwise splendid.
