Kayhan City Hotel

This was my second visit to Bursa, spending 8 days there each time. Both times I stayed in the Kayhan neighborhood, most recently at Kayhan City Hotel, which has an excellent location. Just a few meters away is İnönü Caddesi, where, surprisingly, more than 100 bus routes have stops. There are plenty of restaurants and local eateries (lokanta) nearby. Tuz Pazarı Caddesi branches off İnönü Caddesi, with a market along almost its entire length. At the end are the Grand Bazaar (Kapalı Çarşı) and Bakırcılar Kapalı Çarşısı, near Tophane Park. Almost all of Bursa's main attractions are within walking distance, including Yeşil Cami (Green Mosque). Nearby markets offer plenty of shopping, and restaurants serve affordable food. I recommend trying İskender kebab, a famous local specialty. Bursa has two metro lines and three tram lines, but buses are the main public transport. With so many routes, a BursaKart is worthwhile. From İnönü Caddesi, you can reach Uludağ Teleferik and the historic village of Cumalıkızık without changing buses. Google Maps cannot plan public transport routes in Bursa. I used Moovit instead, which offers an affordable annual subscription. Despite visiting Bursa's main attractions twice, I still discovered new places, including Ördekli Kültür Merkezi (formerly Yeni Hamam) and Panorama 1326 Bursa Fetih Müzesi. For just 30 TL, the museum presents Bursa's Ottoman conquest in 1326 through a 360-degree panoramic painting and diorama. The Hotel I was very satisfied with the hotel. Having visited Turkey many times, I think Kayhan City Hotel deserves its 8.6 rating on Booking.com. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean, as was the bathroom. The staff were friendly, helpful, and spoke English. Since I speak some Turkish, I used it with the staff. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with many dishes worth trying. I highly recommend Kayhan City Hotel for its location, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

Hotel molto bello, pulito e curato. Camera comoda, personale gentile e disponibile. Ottima posizione per visitare Bursa e colazione molto buona. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene, soggiorno piacevole e assolutamente consigliato!

Very good location with valet underground parking and very friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast; well located.

The mattresses were either very soft or worn out.

Location is ok but was overly exaggerated on the hotel's website in terms of approximaty to the sights to visit in the old city.

Uncomfortable beds, the acess to rhe maze-like basement parking, sub par breakfast for a 4 star hotel. Relatively poor housekeeping that 4 star level calls for.
