Harbour View House

We recently stayed with you for 3 nights from 17th September. Overall we found the hotel a pleasant place to stay for a few nights when visiting ST Ives. The location was central and ideal. The view from the rear bedroom was superb and we never tired of looking over the activity in the harbour. The rooms were clean and comfortable, albeit small and storage space was limited. The rooms were slightly rustic in terms of décor and could be improved by painting the bare would shelving and removing the wicker lamp shades. The plumbing was slow and showers did take some time, although this was made clear by a notice on the wall. The stairways did need repainting and clearly showed multiple scuff marks. Staff were extremely friendly, willing and a pleasure to meet. In fact the staff were the great asset to the hotel. Food was attractively presented and alternatives were willingly provided. Breakfast was excellent. Parking does seem to be a nightmare in St Ives, but luckily the hotel did have a few spaces for guests.

Slight repainting in common parts needed. Room small.

The staff were helpful and cheerful. Our sea view room had a great view. The breakfasts were superb. I don’t usually have hotel restaurant dinners but we did so here and it was superb. Parking wasn’t far away.

Nothing much. The bed was small and pillows were a bit lumpy.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location and restaurant with amazing view. Room was small but very nicely decorated and comfortable. Great to have dedicated parking as we arrived by car.

No issues

The location , Staff , breakfast , view , rooms were small but ok

Carpets needed to be cleaned , bed and pillows uncomfortable, stairs were very steep to room .
