Breakfast was excellent and food at night was good. Had fish on specials board which was very good. Made welcome great place to stay.W

The Rest is spacious and friendly with a good selection of food and drink at reasonable prices.
It has ample parking and is well placed to explore the surrounding area. The rooms are fairly basic and clean with all the facilities you would expect, but they are due a redecoration sometime soon, this does not affect the comfort or the peaceful atmosphere.
The Rest have some quirks that people have questioned but I think that this adds to its overall character.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was efficient and nicely done.
The bed mattress was very uncomfortable and as it was very hot, could have done with a separate sheet rather than a duvet but the most annoying thing was the very hard mattress.
