Our host Giuseppe is one of the very best we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us at the rooms and gave us a 30 min brief introduction to the interesting history, the caves and underground cisterns in Matera. He also took us down into the cave below Piano Piano. He was generous with his time and also recommendations for places to visit and eat. Giuseppe really made our stay in Matera. The room was very comfortable and in a great location.
Nothing, it was all so good.

Unique location, plenty of history, architectural details.
Fridge facilities were very small, making it difficult to store a couple of things we brought with us.

Bright, clean, simple and comfortable accommodation. Thank you for the story of your home and great recommendations

This was by far the best welcoming experience. The owner is so passionate about Matera (he is also a geologist) that he will basically give you a whole guiding tour on the way to the apartment and inside of it. His propriety is truly a hidden gem in Matera with an amazing background. I won’t spoil it to you, you need to experience it yourself.
Everything was amazing.
