Great location, comfortable, clean and very friendly.
Lots of stairs to bedroom, but staff did help carry our bags, which was much appreciated.

The room was excellent, very comfortable with everything we needed. Very comfortable king size bed and good bathroom. It offered more than you would usually expect from accommodation of a similar price e.g. 2 comfortable easy chairs and plenty of room to move around without bumping into each other.
Can't think of a way to improve the room.

It was a beautiful building with large, very comfortable rooms, ideally located in the centre of town where we could walk everywhere. The staff were friendly, professional and very helpful.

An absolutely gorgeous historical property with wonderful modern facilities. Had a lunch and breakfast and the food was delicious and the service swift on both occasions! Loved my stay in The Dome room, the bed was comfortable and the bath was too!
It was perfectly located for a weekend in Buxton for the Georgian Festival, as it was literally a 2 minute walk around the corner to the Crescent where most of the events were taking place.
The closest parking is on the street so it can be tricky getting a space depending on the time that you arrive. This parking is also paid for 8am-6pm daily and is very reasonably priced for a town centre, but it does have a maximum limit of 4 hour stay. Some rooms also have a lot of stairs to access them and there is no lift, which is to be expected of a period property but is important to know before arriving!
