The good news is that it is located conveniently for places by walking or short tuktuk ride. The owner seems to be friendly and helpful and very kindly let us keep the room until 3.30pm for checkout at no extra charge. However, there was an element of Fawlty Towers about it. Unlike the seven other hotels on our trip, he asked for full payment for the 3 nights as soon as we arrived. When he served our meal he then stood 30cms away looking down watching us eat the meal. The room was clean but tiny with no wardrobe, clothes hooks or even a chair to put clothes on. The bedside lamp was broken and dangerous and was not replaced when we told owner. The room had aircon but not a fan. The water in the shower was only slightly warmer than the cold water. The breakfasts were plentiful and fine. Two bottles of water were supplied on arrival but were not replenished on following days. In fact the room was not cleaned, waste bin emptied, or toilet roll checked during our 3 night stay.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a really late check-in and they were waiting for us. They organised a really nice breakfast for us the next day and helped us plan or trip and next stops including train tickets. Will stay again on our way out of Colombo at the end of the trip.

Prima verblijf voor een nachtje. Wij kozen deze overnachting als doorreis ivm de prijs. Het zit dichtbij een aantal malls. Schoonheid is ook prima!

オーナーとスタッフが気さくでとても楽しく、当日は旅の最終日に立ち寄った宿でした。次の日に日本に帰る予定でフライト時間がが夕方だったのでチェックアウトを15時にして頂けたので、荷物を部屋においてコロンボの街をゆっくり観光することもできました。　また、料理も非常においしくオーナーの息子さんが日本に留学中という事もあってか非常に浴して頂きました。　またスリランカに行くときは必ずここに宿泊したいと思ってます。

周辺の客引き（ジュエリー系）がちょっと面倒な程度。 宿は100点！
