This was a beautiful stay while we celebrated our family member graduating high school! The house was clean, well cared for, and beautiful. The access to the beach was great, and I loved the array of books and board games available. The master bedroom was spacious, and comfortable! The 2nd bedroom mattress was a little firm but overall we would definitely rebook again! Thank you again for the fun stay!

This house has an amazing location and is very well equipped with everything we needed. Our only issue was the lack of window coverings in the living room. If you use the pullout bed in the living room you will be awoken pretty early in the summertime because there is nothing blocking the sunlight. Overall a great house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I really liked this place. It had unique character, with many original furnishing and cool wood details. The kitchen was well-stocked with gear. The setting was very pretty, and you could see the ocean and sometimes the Olympic Mountains from the front deck. My one complaint was the beds. We slept the first night in the larger king room. The bed was very hard, and would move whenever you'd roll over to try to get comfortable. Overall, I think the bed is just pretty worn out. The box spring underneath was sagging. We slept the rest of the nights in the smaller room, which was more comfortable. However, both beds and the bedding could really use a refresh. It felt like sleeping in your friend's parents house. The place is a little hard to find because the house numbers are blocked by some over growing plants. It also would have been nice to have some sort of bicycle storage. The location was really pretty, and it was cool to have access to the beach, and a short drive from the state park on the southern end of the island. This place was decently affordable, and if the beds were updated, I would definitely stay here again.

It’s a nice place, quiet and lovely area. Well equipped kitchen to make dinners etc. Beds are comfortable. The hosts even let our small (crated) dog come with us last minute as our dog sitter got sick. The beach across the way is amazing!! The musty smell is unwelcome for allergy sufferers. We had an issue with a fire alarm going off and that could be remedied by changing batteries more often, since it’s a vrbo. The handle in the shower is a rusted wrench that makes it seem the vrbo is not well maintained. Lastly, the ratings are deceptively high, there is the same 4 star rating listed over and over when this listing is a 2 star hotel at best.
