This place was stunning and better than the pictures. It had all the comforts of a modern home with the ambiance and environment of a private family cottage. The best parts were the access to the water via the dock, gorgeous views of the sunset, built-in home and deck speaker systems and variety of kitchen appliances for use. Holly is a very responsive and helpful host with great tips on local resteraunts and activities. Our family had a wonderful time!

Stunning! This bright and inviting cottage felt like home away from home. It was the perfect setting for our family to spend time together and bond with our little one. He learned to crawl right in the living room! It is safe to say that some very precious memories were made here. We took advantage of every minute. One thing we found challenging was the steep decline down to the water. It was difficult for my parents to get down to the dock and for my husband and I while carrying our baby. It is especially slippery when the rocks are wet. As such, we didn't spend as much time down by the water and firepit as we would have liked. Overall, a great stay. Quiet, picture-perfect location with all the amenities you could possibly need. Thanks Holly!

The cottage was so nice that we did not want to leave! Generous hosts (or precious guests) kept pantry and fridge well stocked. We likewise were happy to leave some unopened drinks behind (either for the host or future guests). Def $ and time well spent! Hope to stay again the the future!

Very clean and had everything you need available. Very nice property and dock was a treat with canoe and fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Just had the pleasure of staying 5 nights in this beautiful cottage. Very clean and nicely appointed, but best part is the view. I loved tree covered space but when you add that beautiful water view it’s bound to help you find your Zen!! Holly was extremely helpful with a couple small things, efficient and responsive. It’s a bit far from civilization but not too bad, and that is probably why it’s so beautiful and peaceful. We both loved it and will look forward to returning.

Love the property! The cottage is beautiful. The space is very cozy and relaxing. We loved the pellet BBQ for making dinner. Great for getting away and reconnecting.

This is an amazing property and even better once you see it in person. It's extremely comfortable and perfect for our winter getaway. On arrival the cottage was spotless and well cleaned. Someone also ploughed the driveway when there was snowfall. I was also super impressed that there is a generator in case of power outages so you know that you will be warm and have electricity. In terms of comfort, there are 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms and a futon so enough for even 2 families. The fireplace is a nice touch and we enjoyed playing some of the boardgames provided like checkers, chess and cards. Plenty of standard kitchen items for cooking. Yes, there is no microwave, but we are used to heating up food or coffee on the stove. Standard coffee percolator is provided and my only recommendation kitchen wise would be a small Keurig machine. Upstairs there is a lovely little loft area just outside of the two rooms, perfect for working if you have to, although equally suited to just relaxing and reading a good book. We did not use the balcony much but it's a good size and in the summer a great place to lounge. We did venture down to the lake and in the winter it's stunning. But take care to ensure its frozen over sufficiently before venturing out on there. I didn't but enjoyed the view all the same from the shore. Lots of wildlife such as wild turkeys which visit as well. In terms of amenities close by, I recommend the Port Syndey Freshmart for groceries as it's only about 18min. For coffee there is David's General Store also about 18min or if you venture out to downtown Huntsville (about 27min) try Affogato Cafe and in town there plenty of options for takeout eating and groceries etc. Crossroads restaurant in Rosseau is a must try, the food is outstanding! (23min) There is plenty to do in the area but does require some driving (most within 30min), some highlights would be, Muskoka Goat Away (take a goat for a walk, yes this was a blast the kids loved it), Back of Beyond Equine Centre (for a horse drawn sleigh ride through the snow) plenty of maple places for syrup and other products in the area and Arrowhead Provincial Park if you want to snowshoe. Driving in and out was fine for me, I had snow tires, but the road was ploughed. Still take care if the roads are icy and plan accordingly if and when it is snowing just take your time. This cottage is perfect for relaxing and recharging and we can't wait to return! Thanks to Christine for a great stay.

The cottage is modern, clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Beautiful views from inside the cottage onto the lake below. Neighbour cottages are quite close, but during our December stay, this wasn't a big deal as it wasn't very busy. Host was very responsive. Overall, we loved the place. The only trouble we ran into: it snowed on our last night there and we got stuck on the first ~5km of road leading out of the cottage. We were able to sort it out eventually but just be warned that even with winter tires, navigating the twisty hills over snow can be very tricky! But its worth it for a beautiful winter getaway.

We enjoyed our two night stay immensely. We suggest hand towels for the bathrooms, a microwave & kitchen garbage can (we had to use large one from closet under stairs). Also, downstairs bathroom had a sulphide smell off and on.

Such a wonderful location and property! Would highly recommend. The beds were great as well. The only thing I would mention is if someone has issues with accessibility it would be difficult to make it back and forth to the lake as the cottage is very high up.

My girlfriends and I went to this beautiful property for a couple nights for a little getaway. It had everything we needed and fall was a lovely time to go. Beds were super comfy and the cottage was a perfect layout for a group. Can’t wait to go back!

This cottage is very clean and everything is brand new. Washrooms are clean and basic body wash shampoo conditioner and hair dryer are provided. Kitchen with full facilities except microwave, dish washer works very well too. Stunning view with the private dock, canoe also available to be used. We enjoy the sunset here with beautiful ravine backyard. •wifi not working for full stay, it’s ok for us because it takes us to stay around the fire pit and we saw several meteors💫

This was our second stay at this cottage and we had a lovely time. The property was clean and inviting. We were able to enjoy the outdoors on the water and relaxing on the dock. We will definitely be returning in the near future!

The property was beautiful, looked just like the listing photos and was very clean. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were plenty of games and open concept space for our large group to enjoy each other's company without feeling cramped. The beds were super comfortable and the beds and bath were spacious. The views from the deck were stunning and the dock was great to sit out by the water. Water was great with shallow entry (we had a toddler so that was great for us) and we had access to a canoe and kayak. Unfortunately, the WiFi signal was very weak and we were unable to use it but it forced us to disconnect and spend a lot of time together and enjoying each other's company without distraction. Christine was very quick and responsive before the trip and during our stay. Check in was a breeze as well. We didn't venture around the neighbourhood but there is a convenient store/LCBO that is less than 10 minutes away and very convenient if you want to run out to stock up on items, including firewood. All in all, it was wonderful trip and we would absolutely stay here again.

The cottage is exceptional and well thought out right down to the wine fridge. The area is perfect for a quiet get away however things such as restaurants will require a ride of approx 30 mins. The lake is a nice small size and not overwhelming to paddleboard or kayak on. There are not great amenities close by so pack what you need and prepare to relax. There are a few things that may have been better utilized if there was an accessible cottage manual-it's a fairly new build so likely down the road :)

We spent a long weekend at this lovely cottage! The cottage is gorgeous and clean and the waterfront was spectacular. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a Muskoka getaway. Only one word of warning: the path from the water to the cottage is rather steep - worth considering by anyone with mobility issues.

Aside from some minor housekeeping issues, the cottage was fairly clean, beautifully decorated and well designed to capture the beauty of the property. The internet was very slow and blotchy, other than that it was perfect for a mini-family getaway.

This was a great experience for a summer getaway. The home is beautiful and well appointed. Days were spent on the lake and evenings around the fire pit. Communication and check in with the host were seamless. We will definitely return!
