Bergwelt Grindelwald - Alpine Design Resort

Breakfast was great, BG's Grill was Great.

I HATED the darkness of the room, it was awful, I would Never stay there again or recommend the hotel because of how dark the rooms were.

Rooms, the balcony view, car parking, food and service.

Nothing.

The sauna is really nice and very good breakfast

The staff at the front desk need more training

The two ladies/ receptionist at the front desk were not kind at all. No smiling but only negatively answering. The older lady that looked like manager tried to help at least. And she was better.

I paied for the view and sent email asking for it but we got a room with a blocked view on the 1st Fl. But the receptionist did not informed me that when I checked in and asked. I never had one like her, not smiling and not kindly talking at all. May be that night you had too many Asians.. including me... I thought or it might be a Swiss way?? But other hotel receptionists were different. Next day the older lady arranged a room at the upper floor for us. I appreciate her effort. But we were too busy going out and could not find the time to pack the luggages. It could have been better if the receptionist had explained the situation when we checked in. Also it could have been nice if you had informed us about the shuttle service before our arrival day.
