Inver Lodge

Great location with wonderful views across the bay - both from the room and the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food lovely. The room was a good size and the bed comfy. It’s a large building but only 21 rooms so you get a very personal service

A broader menu choice would have been nice. I’m a pescatarian so was lucky as there was a lot of fish/seafood choice but if I’d been vegetarian I would have struggled across the two days

I wasn't sure what to expect with this location, but it was a perfect location (I truly wish we could have stayed in this location longer than we did). Beds were comfortable. The loch view was incredible - we enjoyed watching the weather change and enjoyed tea/cocoa in front of the bay windows. Staff was super. There was a woman in the morning during our checkout who was incredible and shared places to visit and stories of the lodge, she truly was one of the highlights of our stay.

We only had one issue and that was the temperature of the water. In both rooms we had the water ran from hot to cold. After a while you could anticipate and step away. (I thought it was just me, but our other room had the same issue). But minor!! I didn't love dinner, but it was good and the view was pretty.

We loved the room and the views. The staff was also really friendly. A waiter from Sevilla gave us great tips for the surroundings. Beautiful there!

I’ve celiac disease and let them know, it would have been amazing if they could have not put cookies and chocolate in the room that I can’t eat

Amazing site, with wonderful views and great potential. Comfy bed but bathroom with shower over deep bath was difficult to use.

Sadly this hotel totally lacks atmosphere. My husband described it as grim on the outside and grim on the inside. Very dim reception area, nothing particularly Scottish happening apart from the gorgeous carpet. Not an ounce of Scottish music flowing through the silent hallways. We enjoyed our first dinner of scallop entree and langoustine and salad main albeit from quite a limited menu considering the advertised quality of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was a big let down, not well presented, quite ordinary and we had to keep requesting the staff to replenish the yoghurt, confiture, milk etc which earlier guests had depleted. Eggs were over cooked and not well presented. Background restaurant music sounded as if we were in a funeral parlor. Our over all view was that management needed a big shake up and I felt the potential is there, if only it would liven up. Very disappointing considering the cost and website spiel.
