Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi Ekimae

The hotel is clean and convenient. With carpark is an advantage to tourist with car rental.

If there are some sports facilities like fitness bike would be great.

Staff were pleasant. Position was good for shops, castle, river, and eating places.

Buffet breakfast was very ordinary. Hot food should be hot - it wasn’t. No choice with sliced bread for toasting …white or nothing and rolls very cold..had to be heated in order to cut them! Skin on sausages got more like leather as the days progressed. Fruit bowl had unpeeled orange, grapefruit and banana segments in beside tinned pineapple …. and three dishes with the same unpeeled fruit alongside..? Dispenser (only one) ran out of coffee as I filled my cup, but luckily staff saw and took the cup to fill behind the counter. The room had a kettle but no coffee/tea, and bathroom had no extras…..just usual pump shampoo etc. all extras had to be collected from the lobby. The bed was very hard, as were the pillows. No communal area like a lounge except the foyer…and the room too small to fit 2 chairs.

The hotel was amazing. It was the biggest hotel room we stayed in during our whole Japan trip which was great! It was within walking distance of the train station, markets, restaurants, bars but not noisy. The laundry was great for washing and drying. The staff were incredible and so helpful and helped organise our luggage transfer. We would absolutely recommend to family and friends.

Pillows were not comfortable

Free amenities, location was decent, good distance to the Osaka castle and Tenmabashi station, Kyobash, 2 subways and mall in front.i

The toilet was really stinky, smelled like old urine in an aged care facility that was left unclean for months, no matter how much air freshener we sprayed, it was stinky. They also placed us on the 2nd floor for no reason as I felt we paid a substantial amount and I have a Booking Genius discount, I was not sure why I should be penalized for getting a discount. There was no view at all, and the room did not smell good. I had a very good experience with Keihan brands before so this was a big disappointment. Lastly, they messed up my request for late check out, even though we had clear communication at Booking of my request to check out late, they still called us at 11am and also cancelled our cards. Very disappointing !
