The HOUSE itself was a nice place; however, Vacasa had falsely advertised (to all) that this home was Direct Oceanfront WITH Private Beach Access, which turned out to be UNTRUE!

The FACT that I called Vacasa 2 days before driving 4.5 hours to inquire about the private beach access being there and NOT destroyed by the last hurricane, and being TOLD all had been repaired or they would NOT have rented it was UNACCEPTABLE!! AND upon arrival at the home (only 1 hour before check-in) was NOT allowed to access the home until 4pm! Once in the rental, first thing I checked was the private beach access. And guess what?!?! There WAS NONE! The wooden stairway was nailed shut with a sign from the Corps of Engineers that it was CLOSED! Calling Vacasa customer support accomplished NOTHING! I refused to stay there as I am a regular renter of direct Oceanfront properties and this house was FALSELY advertised!
