It was very close to the theatre that we were visiting in the evening.
We were cold because there was no heating on. Also, breakfast wasn’t being served until 10 am and we had a train to catch so had to go elsewhere.

Staff were very welcoming on arrival and room was excellent. The provision of bath robes and slippers was a nice touch. The night we stayed was quiz night and the pub had a great atmosphere.
Availability of breakfast would have been good.

Comfortable room, very well equipped. Friendly staff.
No food available after 7pm, I arrived 7.40, despite it advertising food until 8. They only serve breakfast at weekends!! I asked if I could at least get a coffee and was told no coffee served before midday
