The house has been recently renovated and is modern inside. I could tell as soon as I walked in that it had been cleaned as well. The beds were comfortable and the layout was nice. However, the description stated that there were 3 parking spots with a parking pad. When I messaged the host to get the code to the front door, I was confused when she mentioned that I should park to the left of the driveway. We had two cars total staying at this time. When we got up in the morning, my husband was approached by the neighbor lady and told that he’s not allowed to park on the right side of the parking spot. It was not clearly defined as two separate parking spots, does not appear to be a shared driveway, VERY confusing. Then the neighbor proceeded to put a “NO PARKING” sign up. Very awkward. The only other spot to park was a tiny spot in front of the house. This house is located on a winding hill on a very busy street. I was scared my new van would get sideswiped. Also, I was very scared getting my kids in/out of the van because the parking spot was so tiny and cars were wizzing by. The windows in our bedroom weren’t sealed; it was so loud at night, I kept waking up from cars driving by. The bedrooms were very hot compared to the downstairs living area (HVAC issue). The windows didn’t have curtains so the sun shining through got my kids up at daybreak (too early). There wasn’t enough toilet paper so I messaged the host. She was quick to respond. There was more toilet paper and the rollaway bed (a broken cot that was taped up) in the basement . That’s where the washer was, but it looked like they were using this area for renovation supply storage. The garbage cans outside were overflowing the first day we arrived. There was trash all over the yard and underneath the deck stairs. The man that came to mow the grass on Saturday kindly helped clean up the trash but the cans were still overflowing. There wasn’t a binder or paper with a check-out policy. I did my best to clean up before I left.

Cute, comfortable, close and clean property with fresh interior. Slight glitch was attended to by the host cheerfully and quickly ( great communication). Easy access to downtown (less than10 minutes).
